Introducing a new system status page
Today we are happy to announce a new system status page in the Archive-It Help Center. This page will improve communication with the partner community by reporting on any known system-wide delays or outages. You can bookmark it or find it in the “promoted articles” section on the Help Center’s landing page.
- Public site - archive-it.org is the place to find reports of known issues with the public site, including availability of public collections or updating public metadata.
- Web application - partner.archive-it.org will report on any known issues with login, account administration functions, and collection management functions of the Archive-It web application.
- Crawls will let partners know if there are delays running crawls, processing completed crawls, and/or presenting crawl report data.
- Wayback will report known delays around when partners can expect to view crawl results in Wayback, either for recently completed crawls or recently saved test crawls. A Wayback delay will be reported if access is unavailable 48 hours after crawl completion or saving a test crawl.
- Search is where known issues with metadata and/or full-text search functionality will be reported.
Please review the system status page prior to submitting a support ticket for the aforementioned types of issues. Continue to submit a new support ticket when:
- the section on the system status page that is relevant to the issue you are experiencing does not indicate that this is a known issue. We do rely on our partners to inform us of issues so that we can investigate whether they are wide-spread and fix them.
- the problem you are experiencing is a capture or replay issue, not a system level problem.
