404 error when adding seed but site is live

I am getting a 404 error when trying to add a seed, but the site is live and working as expected. We tried adding and crawling the seed anyway but got a "This wayback.archive-it.org page can’t be found. No webpage was found for this web address" message when we trying to access the capture. Does anyone why this might be happening?

  It seems most likely to me that there's a subtle difference between the seed and the actual URL. It's possible that a slightly incorrect seed URL gets corrected by the browser, so works when you look at it, but not by the crawler.
