Update for Firefox Proxy Mode extension?

Hi all,

With the coming Firefox 57 release in November that transitions to a new extension development framework, I wanted to check in on the status of updating the Archive-It Proxy Mode Toggle extension for that so many of us know and love for QA.

This is likely something you've had on your radar for months, but I wanted to ask, as the extension is currently showing as "Legacy" in the most recent version of Firefox (56). Thanks very much!

  Hi again, Lauren, and everyone following along from home :-) Just wanted to chime in here quickly again to acknowledge that the shift to Firefox Quantum required a little more code re/writing, but the AIT Proxy mode toggle for Firefox is back and we think even better! This does however require that the add-on once again be installed to your Firefox browser. That part can be done any time here.   Hi, Lauren. Yes, indeedie! Mozilla makes the migration to the new framework possible without having to write up a whole new tool, so the transition should be seamless from the user perspective. Let us know if any questions arise nonetheless.
