Hi all,

I've been asked recently about the possibility of capturing some twitch streams of local broadcasters and was wondering if you had any advice for setting up a harvest? I've had a quick look at the platform and some streams have popups that require responses to continue eg warnings about mature content:

  Streaming content in general can be tricky to archive.  If the popup requires human interaction, it's best to identify a URL behind the popup,if possible.

  Thanks Jillian,

  I've played around with that and for twitch at least, that seems to be the least of my problems. It doesn't seem to display the stream at all if using third party s/w to run a capture. If I'm only using my web browser, the stream will display. I tried to save a session using web recorder but no luck so far.

  Next step is to try setting up a twitch account and see if that makes a difference.
