Archive-It “Pitch a Collection” contest!

Dear Partners,

Ever had an interesting idea for a web archive collection, but it didn’t fall within your collection development policy or you didn’t have the data budget for it? If so, your opportunity has arrived! We are launching the inaugural Archive-It “Pitch a Collection” contest.

This (planned to be) annual event is a chance for Archive-It partners to build unique, interesting collections that may fall outside their normal archiving activities. We hope this allows some partners to help us diversify the types of collections of web content being archived. The contest will end August 31st and winners will be announced in September.

The details and guidelines are on the entry form https://goo.gl/forms/BWJwcn8f3mUBV9jW2. Multiple collection pitches are welcomed, within reason, so go for it and see what you can come up with to help expand the types of collections being created by the community.
