Brightcove video
I've encountered some video that is hosted and played through Brightcove video player. I watched the advanced training webinar on capturing video content and heard Brightcove called out for being particularly difficult to capture, but I don't see any recommendations for how to work around any known issues. Has any progress been made on this front since the webinar was posted?
Here's a Wayback link to the video in question: https://wayback.archive-it.org/10866/20181204182028/http://www.essence.com/videos/essence-live/sexual-assault-me-too-black-community/

Hi, Jane!
Yes, Brightcove-hosted video players continue to be especially tricky. Before trying anything else though, I recommend making a new capture with Brozzler instead of "standard" crawling technology. You have used Brozzler before, I believe? It's designed specifically to make better video captures, so is always my go-to tool when video questions arise.
Using it from here on my end, for instance, I see that proprietary video player still fails to load in my own replay, but Brozzler captured the video, so Archive-It's built-in tools for providing alternative access points to tricky videos, just like this one, can take over on the front end:
