What happens to your collections if you terminate your contract

Hi all,

I am preparing for budget season at my org. What happens to a partner's collections if they do not renew their Archive-It contract?

I know a partner can download their data, but will the collections still be accessible through the Internet Archive/Wayback Machine? I am guessing the answer is no, but I want to be really clear on it as I advocate for funding.

  Hi Mary,

  Your collections will in fact remain accessible via Archive-It and the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine if and when you ever need to discontinue service. You would however lose the abilities to change or add to them going forward.
