Introducing the COVID-19 Web Archive
We are excited to present the COVID-19 Web Archive access portal, which brings together 154 collections from 122 Archive-It partners. These collections contain more than 80,000 websites documenting the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on communities, businesses, healthcare, and other aspects of everyday life. This unified access portal was made possible by support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and will allow users to browse within and across partner collections and search the full-text of the archived web pages, as well as images, videos, pdfs, and more.
If you have public collections that document COVID-19 that are not yet part of the COVID-19 Web Archive, please nominate them for inclusion, using this form, preferably by Friday, September 30. We will be promoting this project more broadly via blogs, social media, and mailing lists in early October, and will have an informational webinar about the COVID-19 Web Archive and associated research opportunities on Thursday, October 27 at 11am PT.
