Archive-It has taken concrete steps toward making its public-facing website (www.archive-it.org) more accessible and usable by people with disabilities. Accessibility features of our website include: providing text alternatives for non-text content, insertion of visual focus indicators to aid in site navigation, and ensuring all site functionality is available from a keyboard. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines for perceivable information and operable user interface and navigation informed our decision to implement these features and will continue to guide future updates and/or redesigns of the Archive-It public website.
