New scoping rule to archive Twitter feeds

As of today (May 14, 2019) all new Twitter seeds added to Archive-It collections will have the following scoping rule applied automatically at the seed level, in order to ensure that embedded images, icons, and glyphs are archived:

• Expand scope into include URL if it matches the SURT: http://(com,twimg,

If you see this kind of media missing from your earlier Twitter archives, you may apply the above scope adjustment manually and/or in bulk.

  I tried to add this SURT in bulk without success. The drop down for Add Rules does not include "Expand Scope to Include URL if...." Can you add this?

  Good catch, Roger, thanks! I should clarify: When you select one or more Twitter seeds from your list and "Add Rules," you should see this separate option in the dialog specifically for Twitter's new default rules:

  

  That should do the trick, but do of course let us know if you still see anything to the contrary.
