Error connecting to Apache Tomcat instance.
I notice the following issue on multiple crawled pages from our collection.
The Capture Calendar (e.g. https://wayback.archive-it.org/30334/*/https://germanhistorydocs.ghi-dc.org/docpage.cfm?docpage_id=1648&language=english) works fine, but when clicking on one of the listed entries (in this case April 24, 2026 11:00:55 leading to https://wayback.archive-it.org/30334/20260424110055/https://germanhistorydocs.ghi-dc.org/docpage.cfm?docpage_id=1648&language=english) gives the following error:
Error connecting to Apache Tomcat instance.
Please check that a Tomcat server is running at given location and port.
Details:
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8009

Hello Daniel. Thanks for reaching out! In cases such as these, the red coding of the calendar access link and the error message that you are see indicate a server error at the time of collecting; that's the original message from the live website that you preserved and you're now reading from the web archive. Is it possible that the live GHDI legacy site was unstable at any point during the ~2 weeks that it was crawled for your collection?
