Patching saved crawls when no missing content detected?
Dear AI community,
Is it possible to patch a page in a a saved test crawl even if QA/host report do not show any content missing? Essentially, can a saved page be patched when I know content errors on the page, like typos, have been updated on the live web?
Thanks,

In the context of Archive-It, “patch crawling” refers to a specific type of crawl available from either within your crawl report or using the Wayback QA tool. If there are no files detected as missing, queued, or blocked by robots.txt, it will not be possible to run a patch crawl.
However, in a case where the content on a live site has changed, running a new crawl of that seed will allow you to capture any changed documents. The new capture of the site will be added to the relevant seed’s Wayback calendar page.
If you’d like to suppress an archived capture from a seed’s Wayback calendar page, please submit a support ticket.
