Add and edit seed-level metadata

Use the following instructions to add or edit metadata for individual seeds, and to add the same metadata facets to multiple seeds. For information on adding or editing metadata in bulk via spreadsheet please consult our guidance on uploading and downloading metadata in bulk.

Add or edit an individual seed's metadata

Metadata can be added or edited for an individual seed by selecting it from that collection's "Seeds" tab, then navigate to the seed's "Metadata" tab and click Edit.

Add the same metadata to multiple seeds

The same metadata facets can be added to multiple seeds at once using the Add Metadata button on the Seeds tab. 

This will open a blank metadata form where you can add new content. *Please note that you will not see any existing metadata associated with any of the selected seeds when using this form*
