Set up and manage Plausible Analytics

Archive-It can integrate with the Internet Archive’s self-hosted Plausible Analytics instance to collect usage statistics for your web archives.

Plausible provides statistics about visits to your Archive-It account, collections, and archived web pages on Archive-It.org.

If Plausible Analytics is not yet set up for your Archive-It account, contact the Archive-It team to request access.

How can I tell if my account is set up with Plausible?

If clicking on the Analytics link in your Archive-It account directs you to this page, your account may not have an associated Plausible account. 

Administrator-level users can also confirm whether Plausible Analytics is set up for their organization:

1. In your Archive-It account, go to Admin > Account Settings.

2. Scroll to the Analytics section.

3. Look for a Tracking ID.

If a Tracking ID is listed, Plausible Analytics is set up for your account.

If no Tracking ID is listed, submit a support ticket to request access to Plausible Analytics.
